Fish Along the Florida Keys Are Spinning in Circles Until They Die—And No One Knows Why
Is it maybe because they live in FL? JK
Would you believe me if I said that someone sent me this article but it sounded so sad that I didn’t even read it I just wrote a quickie cutie poem based on the headline?
Well, believe me, Binch!! I am a mere 8 months postpartum and still feel like my head is a fragile egg that could crack any moment so we try and keep it light and tight around here so as not to scramble the talent (are we allowed to refer to ourselves as the talent? Methinks yes!)
Now, onto this week’s poem. Something fishy is going on in Florida (an evergreen statement, amirite?) and it’s too sad to really get into (again, I didn’t read the article), but I *did* write an encouraging poem about it because the headline made me instantly think of all of the ways we waste our lives (ouchy!) chasing the status quo or the Joneses or the Next Big Thing. And here it is!
I’ll close with my fav lyric so far from Beyonce’s latest album: “Please preorder A BIT MUCH” God she’s GOOD!
Fin. (Get it! Like the French word for end and also a fish fin? lol byeeeee)

The puns and wordplay in these are unmatched. UNMATCHED ;)
It’s very sad for sure. I shouldn’t have looked. Definitely a great metaphor.
