Rescuers Learn That the Exotic Bird They Found Was Actually a Seagull Covered in Curry
gulls just wanna have fun
Hi my little curry birdies!
I have my first podcast interview for the book in two hours and I’m a nervy narwhal (as the saying goes) (no it doesn’t). But headline poems rest for no man, so let’s get to the hard hitting news of the week.
One important thing to note is that the animal hospital that took care of Vinny (named after vindaloo, appropriately) is called Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital. Excuse me I love that.
I want to make sure you all know how much I wanted this poem to be about my bright orange Doritos fingerprints, but, unfortunately the muse had other ideas. (I picture my muse like a hamster in 80s workout gear on a tiny little trampoline, btw.)
And here it is!
Do you know that a seagull’s favorite food besides bread is preordering my book? Wow, they have great taste.
byeeeee

PS Next week I’ll have news about signed copies of the book, Nash launch event, and audiobook behind the scenes! CUTE.
"The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle" is a book by Beatrix Potter! ❤️
Knocked it out of the park! Love it.
